Optical-thermal smoke detector
The optical-thermal sensor uses thermal assistance to the core photoelectric smoke detector to give enhanced false alarm immunity and faster response to a wide range of incipient fires. The plug-in unit combines two separate sensing elements that are managed by embedded software to act as a single unit.

Call Points HM-MCP-GLASS
The call point is an addressable break glass manual call point which has a simple rotary decade switch at the rear of the unit for addressing.
A specialist test key may be inserted into the bottom of the unit to lower the glass and release the micro-switch and thus a full functional test is achieved.
The HM-MCP-GLASS Call Point is designed to provide a manual alarm interface to Morley IAS’s fire alarm control panel.

The optical sensor (CAP320) is suitable for most applications giving the fastest response to slow burning or smouldering fires which give rise to large visible smoke particles.
The photo-thermal sensor (CAPT340) will respond quickly to fast clean burning fires yet maintainthe advantage of optical sensors when detecting smouldering fires. The thermal enhancement of this sensor allows a higher alarm threshold which provides agreater rejection of false alarms. The sensor will alsoraise an alarm at temperatures exceeding 60ºC.
The CAPT340 has day/night modes available, programmeable from the site installer software. The day mode uses the heat aspect of the sensor for areas which may have smoky environments during, for example working hours. The night mode uses a combination of A2S and smoke detection. If not programmed, the sensor defaults to dual mode.
